The legendary Hungarian Quercus Petraea/Sessile oak
from the Zemplén Forest is one of the most respected winemaking tools
in the industry.

Our family owned and operated cooperage has been manufacturing
oak barrels exclusively from this unique wood for our customers
since the early 1960's - based on family traditions.

This slow growing oak - because of the premium mineral content
of the soil in the Tokaj-Zemplén Forest of Hungary – gives a unique
and luxurious taste to the wine, so it's not a surprise that this special oak
has been always highly sought after by the French wine industry.
